Rhonda SG I'll need to use it to get online, to play games, and to churn out documents. That's basically it.
pwnz0r SG yes it would be... a lot of diff with the large screen real estate. you could also get an external monitor if your budget does not allow u to own both a notebook and desktop, and you still need the flexibility of on-the-go computer.
Fatum SG divemasters pratama is the place to service your apeks ... that's where I bring mine .... I serviced it once at year ... they'll replace all the seals and filters during servicing ... other places will do it for you also, but it's going to cost even more ...
av98m SG When I dived regularly, I used to get them serviced there before the season starts every year, but now they've been in storage for 2 years.....hoping they're still servicable T__T And my BC!! I wonder if its even stilll usable by now. Its an out of production model made by Neptune so I can't even buy back the same model if I wanted to.
Rhonda SG I don't really need an on-the-go computer because I can hardly think of a reason why I'd want to lug my laptop around when I go out. I'm not some business person who can't live without the PC. And anyways, when I need to bring information around, I have those thumbdrives. I am soooo tempted to order that Inspiron now!
no-no SG yesh letting udon take a break haha anyways, yeah, that pic u showed once of your splat somehow reminds me of those toys...haha
the Bear SG i didn't think i needed one but now kicking myself.. i should have gotten the MacBook.. travel, shoot, process pics and write immediately... now i have to go look for a portable HDD thingy which allows me to dump my pics in it...
Rhonda SG Watched a documentary on the National Geographic channel this morning about Korean Healthy Food that included my favourite Bibimbap and Bulgolgi and now, I feel like getting Bibimbap for my lunch and dinner!
Fatum SG BCs store a lot better than regs ... the only place you'd have to be careful about is the purge valves ... I had mine replace twice already ... the soft rubber there tend to dry up very quick ... they say that regs must be used regularly, or else they shrivel up very fast ... I know people who NEVER service their regs and theirs are in a better shape than mine ...
the Bear SG going to the army market later for lunch.. wonder if i should get healthy fish soup, slightly unhealthy nasi fried roadkill, or the uber unhealthy brain soup?
av98m SG its a common problem faced by people who are into the so called 'extreme' sports. parental objection ands its actually quite dangerous to go for such trips when you're already stressed at some level by your parents. makes you distracted and careless. butI've decided not to care. I'd rather die doing something I love than continue to live in regret
Rhonda SG Well, I can always get one when I'm back in SG! No reason why I can't own both a laptop and a PC! Anyways, I think returning home in Mar / Apr is a great plan because I get to see my baby niece (who would have been freshly popped out of the oven! ), I get to enjoy relatively summer-like weather that's gentler than the blardy awful Aussie summers here, and I get to play before I start studying proper.
pwnz0r SG the 20", 2.4GHz one is sufficient. the only deal is that what kind of games do you play? u might want vista for compatibility. if you use *ahem* downloads, then u might not need to pay for vista. when you're back in SG, buy another stick of 1 GIG ram and buy a razer mouse... i know some people's opinion may differ, but i think imac's stock mouse sucks so bad.
Fatum SG interested in manado in the coming year ? .... I'm planning a trip with dearling and my diving buddies ...
